Kittery’s convenient location makes it a great shopping destination. The Kittery Outlets are right off the I-95, featuring over 120 brand name outlets along a short 1 mile stretch, making it one of the best shopping outlets in New England.

Kittery has a rich history waiting to be explored. Fort McClary is located on Kittery Point and was established as a 19th century military fort to defend off entrances into the Piscataqua River. The fort now acts as a state historic site and museum where you can learn about the fort’s operation or just hang out in the beautiful seaside park. Fort Foster is another historic fort site that offers rich history, views of the Whaleback light, and access to some of Kittery’s famous beaches. Watch the working Piscataqua River for endless river entertainment.
